The project is located at the intersection of Huayuan road and Dongfeng road,in the east side of the existing sales office.The existing sales office features an 18m entry canopy that marks the Eastern entrance to the building.The proposed addition is for a separate structure which is 'inserted' into the void, both complimenting and contrasting with the existing structure.

Theextended volume allows for a clearer entrance that faces the main approach on Dongfeng Road.Visitors arrive at the reception platform raised 2.4m from the street, and begin their descend to the lower level following views of physical modelsdisplayed on various platforms.

The lower level is principally divided into 2 areas. The existing reception area is converted into an exhibition lobby with a stepped seating area beneaththe existing auditorium, ideal for projections. The seating area adjacent to the physical models, is a discussion area for visitors.
